Postaramy się uporządkować nieco pojęcia dotyczące wzrostu i jego granic, a także napocząć temat systemu wierzeń, który dał napęd całemu procesowi, który nas teraz zabija.

Wanderers is a vision of humanity's expansion into the Solar System, based on scientific ideas and concepts of what our future in space might look like, if it ever happens. The locations depicted in the film are digital recreations of actual places in the Solar System, built from real photos and map data where available.
Without any apparent story, other than what you may fill in by yourself, the idea of the film is primarily to show a glimpse of the fantastic and beautiful nature that surrounds us on our neighboring worlds - and above all, how it might appear to us if we were there.

As some may notice I have borrowed ideas and concepts from science fiction authors such as Kim Stanley Robinson and Arthur C. Clarke, just to name a few. And visually, I of course owe many tips of my hat to painter Chesley Bonestell - the legendary master of space art.

„Gli ultimi fuochi”, czyli dosłownie ostatnie płomienie, ale też ostatnie strzały, czyli wszystko, o czym opowiada film Manueli Pellarin: od agresywnej industrializacji Włoch lat 50. i policji otwierającej ogień do pracowników Porto Marghera w latach 60., przez wypracowanie lokalnej autonomii robotniczej lat 60.-70., aż do walki z wygaszaniem tej weneckiej strefy przemysłowej na początku lat 2000.

Film ukazał się w 2004 roku, a do szerszego grona widzów trafił dzięki wersji DVD z obszerną książeczką oraz napisami w kilku językach (m.in. polskim) wydanej przez niemieckie czasopismo autonomistyczne „Wildcat” (nr zima 2006/2007). W Polsce pojawił się on na płycie dodanej do numeru 7/2008 „Przeglądu Anarchistycznego”.

Permaculture Principle 11: Use Edges & Value The Marginal

The Edge is where it's at! This principle applies both spatially (the living organisms on the edge of a forest are usually more biodiverse due to differing exposure to sunlight, water, nutrient...etc.) and temporally (the time we are currently in is literally on the Edge of the geological epoch known as the Holocene and what is now being termed the 'Anthropocene' - the next period in Earth's history largely resulting from human activity on the planet).

Representing the interface and intersectionality between things, the Edge is more of an exploratory space, where we can experiment, innovate and try new things (like permaculture!) to see which ones will be the most effective moving forward in to uncharted territory.

For instance, many farmers in Australia living on the climactic edge between cool temperate or Mediterranean and semi-arid are now experimenting with different crops to suit drier conditions as the climate changes. The fact that some conditions from the original climate remain intact (for now) means they can effectively grow in two climate zones at once!

Even though it is often a liminal, unknown space, the Edge presents many more opportunities for sustainable growth and adaptation than in the centre.
